Ishani is a Partner at Hanabi Capital who cares about: 1) investing in companies enabling the next frontier in technology 2) working with people who are mission obsessed 3) not dying from AGI. Previously, she was a Partner at Index Ventures, where she focused on many of the same themes.

Before VC, Ishani was an AI researcher and software engineer. She did Robotics and RL research at DeepMind and MIT and loves clever methods to train agents to act and behave like humans. She also worked in engineering at companies including Confluent, Lyft Level 5, and Google.
