Shreyan Jain

Shreyan is a Partner at Hanabi who loves to work closely with founders obsessed with technology, humanity, and progress. Previously, he spent 3 years investing with Elad Gil where he focused on AI, infrastructure, energy, and hardtech and partnered with companies like Applied Compute, Cambridge Aerospace, Crosby, General Matter, and KoBold Metals. Before investing, Shreyan was a software engineer at fast-growing startups like Ramp, where he led the team responsible for building and scaling all of the company's payments infrastructure, and Robust Intelligence, where he did research on improving security and reliability of enterprise AI/ML systems. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science at MIT, including a thesis on privacy-preserving genomic computation at the Broad Institute and a minor in literature.
